Quality Residential recommends that your do not attempt to treat water damage yorself. To preserve the appearance and life of carpet and furnityre, higer a certified firm. By incorporating the science of drying, special training, and our immediate response, the loss is limited to just the affected areas and restoration time is minimal. you can be confident that an experienced, qualified professional is restoring your valuable furnishings. TO PREVENT EMPLIFICATION OF MICROORGANISMS, IMMEDIATE RESPONSE IS NECESSARY FOR ALL CATEGORIES OF WATER INTRUSION. Quality Residential uses the following: Extraction Equipment with sufficient vacuum capability is used to efficiently remove water from floors, flooring materials, structural components and contents. Air Movers are the most common equipment used in water damage restoration to promote evaporation. Air movers use a squirrel cage fan and, generall, the air is directed through a snout. Air movers create laminar airflow to asist in surfact and sub-surface drying of textile floor coverings as well as surface drying of building materias. Air Filtration Devices are equipped with HEPA or carbon filtration. It can be used to filter air while creating negative pressure in contaminated areas as an "air scrubber," removing airborne contaminants without changing air pressure. Dehumidification Equipent is essential in removing evaporated moisture from the air to minimize or prevent secondary damage. In closed drying situations, mechanical dehumidifiers of sufficent capacity are necessary to create an effective drysing system, ideally within 24 hours of the inception of drying. Thermohygrometer is used to determine the temperature and relative humidity. With these measurements, our technicians can calculate the specific humity (humidity ratio), vapor pressure and dew point temperature of the area inside the building affectd by primary water damage-the are inside the building unaffected by primary water damage as well as the air outside the building. |
